You can get a 1337 deal on the Warhammer Online preorder from Target right now. Only Target is doing a deal where you buy a preorder package for 99 cents that includes one month of open beta, $5 off the final game, and two ingame junkers without any commitment to buy the real game. So i r buy lots of them and are play mad open beta for a month and rule the game as good or bad without the whole $50 scheme. Get em while you are can!

The game is heavily team PvP focused with a lower grade engine so you don't have to run mass video cards to play. It sadly looks alot like WoW and has the same gay combat system as every other MMORPG under teh sun (no uber conan comabat) but that might make the difference for the team PvP loving I'm looking for.

So, Warhammer Online is just about as buggy as WoW was when it hit the streets. The engine feels rough to me and that cartoon Korean engine doesn't too well. The PvE content is a long grind like EverQuest but with gay quests that annoy you to hell and back. The PvP system is awesome but assumes all confience in your team; One bad healer and you're entire team is screwed. Has that brainless play style feeling but with alot of features I saw in EQ2 that we're nice to have. Level cap is 40.

Overall so far, not worth $50. I've got beta for another month I can play around with so maybe we'll find something neat. The best thing so far is you can launch yourself in a catapult over enemy walls if your on the evil side.
