Yeormom, you said halo 2 was a crappy game. It's not on pc so you were talking about xbox. if you're talking about a port, sure it might be crappy. that's not i'm talking about though.

stallworth, you're right. pc games do cost more. but halo 2 has been the first game to ever beat those movies in it's first 24 hours moron. plus more people go to the movies than buy games. you got served.

XBOX games average 50 bucks.

Thats a rough estimate mind you, but it is ball park figure.

Well since the PC crowd seems to be 10x more educated than the console crowd, most of them will bittorrent it when it comes out instead so the official record will be flawed.

Oh yeah, about highest sales...Halo 2 didn't even come close to netting the most on anything because of the insane development and mostly adverstising cost put into it. Even back in the beginning of the year, they almost canceled it because of the high cost but it would mean the end of xbox so...yeah. Too bad Microsoft won't come out and tell how much they spent on it all cause it's too bad for them to say.

True. There's no telling how much they spent on promoting it, making it, etc. but they actually did pull in 125 million in profits which is more than anything else. Movies cost millions to make too you know.

Battlefield 2 will get a buy from me the day it comes out.
