teh Call of Duty 4 has been annouced for teh consoles and pc at E3. The graphics and gameplay look amazing...a total replacement for my bf2 gameplay style. Some great videos for it out there now too.

They come out the same date according to Activision's site.

I'm confused. Why would you want to play a FPS game on console? About the only thing I'd ever touch on a console would be a simulator/racing type game, or basic RPGs liek teh Zelda,Mario. Buying any other game for a console is like flushing money down the drain yo.

From what I read, the "E3 beta" is exclusive to select Xbox LIVE members and is actually nothing more than a technology demo...The actual game alpha is already out, on teh PC only. As with most alpha's, its very very select, mostly friends family of devs so you can foget getting ahold of it. An official beta will release to teh PC in October. Object of teh betas is to find and fix problems and teh Xbox isn't too effective at teh changing of content dynamically.

Watched a video on c4 throwing...everyone is gonna do that crap. I absoutely love the kill streak progession stuff they're doing. Get three in a row and you can self-call radar, 10 helo, etc.

Here's teh awesome video I we're talking about...

i've talked to a lot of ppl that play xbox 360 and they say the only reason they have one is cuz it's cheaper than an actual computer with the same graphics and gameplay, some even say it's better, but anyone with common sense knows that's bullshit. you know how it's gonna go down, consoles and pc will end up merging making something completely different than what's available now.

PC's will eventually flood out the console market. The only reason they haven't yet is the lack of usability. Windows Vista with Live Game support will help big time as more noobs move onto it, making it super easy to setup/play games.

I have a big time with the comment consoles have teh same gameplay as a PC just because of the restricted input methods on teh console, plus lack of possible high end EAX sound and unless you have a PS3, your graphics aren't going to be near as good either in all cases. Even if you have a PS3, the new nvidia cards blow those out of teh water too. Shall we mention mods?

Consoles only have the market they do because of usability. The common American is an idiot and needs to have a button that says play and nothing else. Sony/Microsoft/Nintendo is just taking advantage of the market...

the single player demo was released on October 11, downloaded, installed, and played it today, was well worth the wait i think, very short demo of course, but definitely worth the pre-order imo

i picked her up today, and i must say she looks very sexy, even though i have shadow problems, etc. the gameplay is pretty badass, fast, all the things you love about teh formerz cod, but with modern combat feel, as you all probably know by now. definitely worth the buy imo.
