the new GPU line just introduced by Nvidia features support for up to 1GB GGR3 RAM, SLI with 4 fully supported cores (previous could support 3), support for upcoming DX 10, and featres a new set of shaders

some stats:
Core: 660Mhz
RAMDAC: 500Mhz
GDDR3: 1.5Ghz
Pixel Pipelines: 32
Memory interface: 512-bit
Core process: 35nm
Core output (W) 75

oh yeah, incase you couldnt tell, that was bs, but Nvidia is realeasing the 7900GT:

oh yeah, this one i think is capable of running a 4 card sli setup. now if you think 2 cards is a stretch, what about 4 cards? (lol)

I think SLI is a complete, utter waste. To really use it's functionality, the software you use has to support it...therefore, you've got a wonderful software bottleneck. At least ATI got the idea right when it comes to chaining cards together...
