Okay, so I'm 21 years old, I live at home, and really have no major bills to pay, with the exception of insurance and gas (which, we all know is ....bad). I buy all my own clothes, toiletries, etc. If I go out, I pay (or make the boyfriend pay, whatev.). Not to mention I have an amazing job and make $13 an hour (typically I work about 18-24hrs a week).
Nonetheless, I asked my mom to buy me a pair of shoe's for camp. They were 90 dollars. I am feeling guilty that my mom actually bought them for me. Should I offer to give her the money for them? or... just suck it up because she is my mom?
I originally asked Nathan (the bf) to buy them, he said no. But then as a joke, because I know my mom would think the shoe's are ugly. I asked her, and she actually said yes. I think she is feeling guilty for neglecting me all these years...
Anyway, should I give her money? (she's not really poor either)
I'm sorry this is stupid, but I am a girl, and I feel bad about the 90 dollar shoes.
