It finished defragging in 20 hours. I analyzed it and it still has 50% fragmentation. The ownage extends into the week...

It was about three-six months ago and it's my raid array for system and application files.

I'm not sure what the problem is with it yet but it won't defrag 50% of the drive. For example, I can go click defrag right now and it will say 51% fragmentation and start defragging then automatically complete in less than 30 seconds. It's showing a bunch of game directories as undefragable. I think it's time for a healthy format since I havn't done so in three years, since I got the computer.

yeah I'd format in FAT32 since it's faster and more widely accepted...

I'd use those drives in RAID 0 to boot from
i've had my WD360 (raptors) in RAID 0 for a while and no probs.... the only thing you need to worry about is drive failure cause that'll screw u over

The Orange Beast is pushing the easy button~ after 94 weeks 4 days without a format or major Windows wipe.
