Maybe it is about time I stopped wasting time out of my day to come and check this forum for any interesting bits of information and conversation. Over time it seems this forum has gone from an interesting way for friends to stay in contact, to a bunch of people insulting everything and everyone they can. It also appears as though several members have changed there attitude on the subject. I didn't really see this coming. When I joined the forum the sort of conversation that goes on now was inconceivable. An occasional dig at a friend is no big deal as long as it is done in good taste and as long as everyone knows it is a joke. However, the digs have gone from few and far between, to the entire conversation. Over time the line between a friendly joke and an all out insult has been blurred, and I find it difficult to tell if anyone is joking anymore. The subject of curse words on the forum has also evolved into some sort of beast. In one post I read a person say, that curse words are "just" adjectives and nouns. Well, they may be adjectives and nouns, but they are such powerful descriptors that they need not be used constantly. They definitely shouldn't be peppered throughout a post. And peppered is probably an understatement, in that it seems there are several posts that are composed of 90% (or greater) curse words. In any case it seems like a waste of time for me to try to sift through this mess to find something of taste to read and reply to. I know there must be a few intelligent posts in here, but they are buried under such a heaping amount of garbage that the search doesn't seem worth the trouble. |

dude, i only met you once, and never see you post, as for cussing, maybe you should ACTUALLY READ the forums, you'll see a nice post about my 1st ammendment to say what the fuck i want, but you wouldnt know anything bout that, like speed said with you 27 posts, but whatever, and btw with a little english lesson, cuss words are words....words...adjectives and adverbs, and i choose to use them, dont like it, fuck off, as for everyone fighting, i think you take that one way too seriously |
