Actually, Jews do believe in God, they don't believe in Jesus. They believe he was a great man and prophet, but not the Son of God. They celebrate hanukka. Where they light the candles on each night, I think there is like, what? 8 nights? yeah. I don't know the details. But I do know there is a candle lighting. Rather then christmas. (because Christmas is the celebration of Jesus' birth, they don't believe in Jesus... therefore they don't celebrate Christmas) You really should look more into other religions, otherwise you could potentially really offend someone. Also, when defending your beliefs, you really have no point at all, if you can't compare and contrast your belief to anothers. Ignorance is stupid- so fix it. |

jesusrocksmyfaceoff is right in one way but wrong in another. Jews do believe in God, the Almighty. SOME Jews don't believe in Jesus. These are the ones that don't even recognize the New Testament as part of the Bible. Some Jews, however, do believe in Jesus Christ, These are the Messianic Jews. But yeah, the old fashioned regular Jews celebrate Hanukkah instead because Christmas is the celebration of the Jesus' birth. If you want more information, google it. They'll tell you all about Jews and why they burn the candles for eight nights and what each candle means. I just gave you the information I know from the top of my head. |
